Shawn is a visual artist and teacher living in Louisiana. 

 

​“Creating art for me is like stepping into an uncharted world, an exhilarating awe-inspiring adventure that creates a sense of wonder. 

 

I'm drawn to moments that stop me in my tracks, beauty that feels overwhelming, and the feeling of having discovered the unknown. Just as one may experience the quiet power of a storm or the feeling of standing before something vast and ancient, I want to capture those moments that make my heart race, take my breath away, or inspire deep questions. 

 

In exploring a new process, reimagining the familiar, or chasing an unexpected idea, I follow two rules: stay curious and have fun.
